Benjamin Carelock, DPMPodiatry

He describes himself as someone who finds great value in his patients living their best, which means being pain-free. Getting to know his patients from the ankle up, he says with a smile, is just as fun as treating their feet or ankles. Dr. Benjamin Carelock comes to FHW from Cortez, in the southwest four corners area. He has a particular interest in treating diabetics who can experience a variety of issues with their feet, in addition to foot and/or ankle fractures.

Dr. Carelock received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Midwestern University in 2009. He went on to do a foot and ankle surgical residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, in 2012. And, in 2017, Dr. Carelock became board certified.

Personal Interests
His interests include outdoor activities like climbing, rafting, and astronomy. He will have ample time to explore more of Western Colorado as a Family Health West caregiver.
