Forging a new professional path for a career that improves the lives of our FHW patients is something Caroline Toennishas been doing since the fall of 2018. As a licensed professional counselor, Caroline was the first integrated behavioral health specialist to join FHW Primary Care.

She describes her role as pivotal in developing and sustaining overall health for patients and the integrated behavioral health program crafted for the Primary Care team. Just another gap in previous whole health care that is now being addressed in an outside-the-box kind of way.

Caroline believes in the mission of integrated behavioral health and enjoys collaborating with the Primary Care medical team in providing whole-person care to each of her patients. Outside of work, you can find Caroline looking through the lens of a camera, enjoying the great vastness of the outdoors, or partaking in a sports activity.
