Korrey Klein, MDAll Family Practice Physicians

While his patient load may be a little lighter than his fellow primary care physicians, Dr. Korrey Klein very much enjoys seeing patients in his spare time. This Eastern Colorado farm boy has carved out a professional career as a rural healthcare doctor who became the President and CEO of Family Health West in 2019.

Dr. Klein has spent years practicing broad-spectrum family medicine in Grand Junction, Rifle, and Fruita, Colorado. While his patient panel is not full-time, he enjoys caring for his patients through primary care and wellness, as well as occasionally in the hospital and emergency room. He remains committed to our community as well, serving in a leadership role at Family Health West as the fourth President and CEO. He received a Medical Doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, completed his residency at St. Mary’s Medicine Residency program, and is currently board certified in Family Medicine.

His medical interests include treating high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, well-child care, lap band fills, skin lesion removal, and joint injections, to name a few. In his personal life, he enjoys practicing spelling words on the way to school with his son, chasing around and creating new adventures with his two sons and his wife, and traveling to new places.
